  • This gorgeous ring is our ultimate collection. The finest and most-extensive line of top quality Tahitian cultured pearls available anywhere in the world.

  • This exquisite ring showcases one black Tahitian 12-13mm pearl with peacock overtone. The pearl is an overall AA+ quality-combining breathtaking silk-like AAA luster, nearly perfectly round AA+ shape and AAA body.

  • Twenty-four sparkling diamonds, a total gem weight of 0.152ct, accent this 18k white gold ring.

  • Choose the right ring size from our drop-down menu below.

  • Your ring will be carefully packed and shipped to you in an elegant velvet box and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and Appraisal issued by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) graduate on pearls. We will also include our pearl care card to show you the ways to take good care of your pearl.

Tahitian cultured pearls are cultivated in the mollusks that are commonly called the black-lipped oysters, which are native to French Polynesia. The inside edges of these oysters' shell are black, as are the edges, or lips, of the mantle tissue, hence the description black-lipped. Most Tahitian pearls are cultivated in the quiet, remote lagoons of French Polynesian islands. Up to 40% of the implanted oysters produce a gem-quality cultured pearl of some shape. But only 5% of the crop will be round, and only 1-2% of the crop will be round cultured pearls of the finest quality. One feature of Tahitian pearls is their high value, which is comparable to South Sea cultured pearls but much more than other types. This is due to a combination of factors such as their larger size and unusual colors, and production factors like the remote location of Tahitian pearl farms, the cost of nurturing and maintaining the black-lipped oyster population, and there are far fewer of them being produced than Japanese Akoya or Freshwater pearls.
